We had a fantastic ski assembly yesterday morning and everyone really enjoyed seeing more of the photos from last week! Congratulations to all those who won Star Pupil prizes too!
Mrs Bell has put together all the photos (over 300!) and Friday's PowerPoint onto a USB pen drive as a final souvenir from our trip. If you'd like your own USB pen drive to keep, please leave a comment below and Mrs Bell will make you your own copy! Each USB pen drive will cost just £5 with any profits going to school funds.

Home sweet home!
There were a few tears shed at Aldergrove yesterday evening as our 25 super skiers were finally reunited with parents who seemed to have missed them over the last week!
Well done to all the P7s on the trip - you did yourselves and Brooklands proud! The teachers hope that you'll always remember this week as a great opportunity to try something completely different. Don't forget, many primary schools no longer offer any residential trips but at Brooklands every child has the opportunity to experience three different residentials. It's just one of the things that we do best so tell your friends!
Thanks must go to Radka, Steff, Yanko and Vanya - our fantastic ski instructors! We hope you're reading this! Thanks also to Roberto, Stella, Tony, Brian, Bill and all our friends at Travel Solutions who look after us so well every year!
We hope that you've enjoyed looking at the photos we've posted this week. Over the next few days, Mrs Bell will put together a CD of all the photos taken while we were away - more details to follow!

Day 6 - it's all over!
We're all safely back at the hotel after another excellent day on the slopes! It's been a gorgeous sunny day here in Pamporovo, the perfect end to a perfect week. You'll be delighted to learn that everyone passed their ski exam and is now a qualified skier!
Casey's birthday celebrations continued at the hotel last night when the restaurant manager and chef presented her with a beautiful cake. And it's Casey's mum's birthday today so Happy Birthday to Mrs Rix! Tonight we're going shopping for a few more pressies then it'll be back to the hotel to pack our cases. Don't be surprised if half of your child's clothes end up in someone else's suitcase...
We'll not be posting any updates tomorrow as we'll be travelling so please check the expected arrival time of flight MT1995 from Plovdiv. We'll see you all at Aldergrove and expect to hear a huge Brookies cheer when you see us!
We love your comments so don't give up now!

Day 5 - we're having so much fun!
Another amazing day on the slopes for Team Brookies! We awoke to the most beautiful sunrise and couldn't wait to get to the slopes. The conditions were perfect and we all enjoyed a fantastic and injury-free day. Did we pass our ski exams? We don't know but will find out tonight at the Awards evening.
It's Casey's birthday today so she had to endure our singing at breakfast this morning. There might even be some cake at dinner tonight!
Last night's bum boarding was great fun with all the children screaming loudly as they zoomed down the slope!
Thanks for all your comments - keep them coming!

Day 4 - we've mastered the green run!
It's another gorgeous snowy day here in Pamporovo and we're all safely back at the hotel after a great day's skiing! There was no need to return to the nursery slopes today so we spent every moment skiing down the green run before getting back on the chairlift to do it all over again! We're continuing to make great progress which is good news as tomorrow is our ski exam - wish us luck!
Tonight we're looking forward to the bum boarding, always a highlight of the week. Mr Massey reckons he'll beat Mrs Smart and Mrs Bell in the teachers' race... time will tell!
Did you spot us on the webcams? We're two hours ahead so try looking between 7.30am and 1pm. And don't forget to write a comment - no need to be shy!
Just in case anyone's missing the teachers...

Day 3 - up to the top of the mountain!
What an amazing day for our P7 skiers! We spent the morning on the nursery slopes at the bottom of the mountain proving to our instructors that we could still turn and stop. Then, after lunch, we were delighted but a little nervous when our instructors told us that we were heading straight up to the top! That of course meant that we had to get onto the chairlifts - no problem! Everyone enjoyed the 15min ride to the top and then we all managed to ski safely all the way back down to the very bottom! The teachers are very proud of all the children and we know that you are too. Tomorrow, why don't you keep an eye on the webcams to see if you can spot us?!
There was a very competitive atmosphere at last night's ten-pin bowling and we'll announce the overall winner next Friday in assembly. Tonight it's a quiz followed by an early night as we need to save our energy for tomorrow's skiing.
We love all your comments so leave us another one please!

Day 2 - we can turn!
What an amazing day we've just had! Today we were concentrating on the second most important lesson - how to turn! It didn't take long for everyone to master the basics and we were soon weaving in and out of the poles. No injuries to report!
The instructors are delighted with our progress and, if the conditions are right tomorrow, they plan to take all the groups to the nursery slopes right at the top of the mountain. Fingers crossed!
Last night we enjoyed the disco and taught the teachers some new moves. Tonight it's ten-pin bowling - who will be the first to get a strike? Don't forget to leave us a comment!
